I know this isn't Abigail but Conspiracy is a great album and "Sleepless Nights" is a kick ass song!

Old School Pic of the Week
Realm - Hailing from Milwaukee Wi! In my opinion of the most underrated thrash bands I can think of! They formed in 1985 and put out two albums Endless War and Suiciety. They played progressive, speedy, thrash with very good clean vocals! They also did the best cover of Eleanor Rigby I ever heard! Check em out - http://www.realm.name/

Dark Tranquility - "Shadow in our blood"
Dark Tranquility have been around since 1989 and they play melodic death metal and are of course from Gothenburg Sweden. They are one of the few bands that have remained intact since the beginning of the Gothenburg scene. Though not one of the most well know of the melodic death metal scene in Sweden they have released solid efforts one after another! I came across this video from their forthcoming album "We are the Void", and this is by far one of the coolest metal video's I've seen in a long time! It's about time creative directors and cinematographers start making metal video's!

Dan Seagrave
Dan Seagrave is a painter from England Whom is probably the most recognizable album cover artist for death metal bands of all time! He uses acrylics to paint and create dark, sometimes whimsical beings and architecture. His work reminds me of Zdzislaw Beksinski only with more color or maybe MC Ecsher on acid! So here's the links check em out!

Until the Light Takes Us
I read the "Lords of Chaos" and thought it was really good and scary at the same time because I can't condone the burning of churches! It's a totally different culture, (Norwegian Black Metal) but it's very interesting to hear the thoughts and lifestyle of the culture straight from the ones who started it! "Until the Light Takes Us" sort of looks like the movie version of the book which makes it even more interesting, to see the story visually along with the interviews is just amazing!

Darkthrone - Circle the Wagons
This is the 14th release I believe and it's pretty much along the same lines as F.O.A.D. and Dark Thrones and Black Flags, which makes for a damn fine listen! If your not familiar with Darkthrone you might be thrown off by the simple garage sounding production which is intentional! This makes me feel like I'm in a practice space listening to a couple dudes jammin, so I like this kind of sound sometimes! Early, dark, crust and raw sounding with great song titles dark vibes!Tracklist:
Those Treasures Will Never Befall You
Running For Borders
I Am The Graves Of The 80s
Stylized Corpse
Circle The Wagons
Black Mountain Totem
I Am The Working Class
Eyes Burst At Dawn
Bränn Inte Slottet
